2022 Agriculture Exhibition Is Cancelled

March 6, 2022

The Ag Show Ltd. announced that the 2022 Agriculture Exhibition is cancelled.

A spokesperson said, “The Ag Show Ltd. [the committee] regrets to announce the cancellation of the 2022 Agriculture Exhibition.

“In November of 2021, the committee decided to monitor the continuous impact on Covid-19 before making a final decision regarding the 2022 Agricultural Exhibition. However, in December of the same year, the committee decided to cancel the show altogether due to the increase in the Omicron variant and future uncertainty.”

Antwan Albuoy, Exhibition Director, explains: “Since the Virtual Ag Show, the committee was working on plans to have a full show, provided the country reached a certain level of containment regarding Covid-19. Unfortunately, we made the decision to cancel the show as we want to lessen the further unnecessary spread of the virus.”

“Ag Show Ltd would like to thank the community, Axis Capital, the Ministry of Parks, and the Ministry of Education for their continued support,” a spokesperson said.

  1. What a joke says:

What a joke, this is a poor excuse for laziness. If I was the sponsor of these clowns, I would pull right out and not give these jokers another dollar.

They are stripping our children of any fun that is left and using this flu as the excuse. Move on like the rest of the world is doing and get back to normal. You can’t use this excuse forever.

  2. Say Whaaaat? says:

The numbers are way down since December. This is very disappointing, especially for the children.
