I don’t get it….please help me understand why these beaches cannot be used by taxpayers during the daylight hours

  2. Typical says:

Are you serious? All the property at Coopers Island is off limits to the public? I would like to see someone tell me to leave if I arrive in my boat and want to use the beaches.

  3. sage says:

Extortion. How can you hand over a huge area of the island to the “Carnival Committee” to be able to charge an entry fee to public lands? Restricting the free movement of people who don’t have anything to do with the party seems wrong. Or is BDLC, like WEDCO, a dictatorship? Is the motorsports park off limits too?

    Carnival?

  5. Some beach says:

A carnival has clowns innit and amusement park rides ennit?

  6. Bdaboy says:

They have absolutely no legal right to refuse entry to public beaches . It’s conpletely unlawful , public road , public beach .

  7. SoFarbie says:

Trust me clowns like this do this every weekend in St David’s when they bloke of public roads to ride their stupid bikes, I agree with all the comments so far.

  8. Widget says:

Reason being you’ll trash Cooper Island and we the tax payers will have to foot the bill to clean it up. So relax meatheads, you have enough ground to destroy as it sits. Take a look at the mess after the weekend is over and tell me you would want to see that mess on Coopers Island.

    Enjoy
