Court: Woman Sentenced To One Year in Jail
Appearing in Magistrates Court today [June 30], a 42-year-old woman was sentenced to one year in prison for stealing jewellery from residences.
Ms Kylah Stowe was sentenced to a year in prison for burglary and and three months in prison for stealing jewellery from the residences; with the two prison sentences set to run concurrently.
The Senior Magistrate handed down these sentences after considering Ms Stowe’s past criminal record which spans years, and reviewing Court ordered SIR and BARC reports.
On completion of her prison sentence, the Magistrate ordered that Ms Stowe should be on probation for two years.
