Court: Mother And Son Face Cannabis Charge

August 9, 2016

Appearing in Magistrates Court, a mother and son were charged with allowing a residence to be used for the cultivation of cannabis.

Ms Paulamae Riley-Bailey, 62, and Shawn Riley, 42, of Sandys, were charged with allowing premises to be used for the cultivation of cannabis.

Both pleaded not guilty and were given a trial in October and granted $5,000 bail.

Shawn Riley, along with a person named as Roydon Brangman, was also charged with cultivating cannabis.

Riley plead not guilty, while Brangman was not in Court to answer, with the Court hearing he was apparently out of the jurisdiction.
