PGTC Names David Thomas As Marketing Officer
The Pomander Gate Tennis Club [PGTC] has named David Thomas as its Marketing and Communications Officer.
Currently ranked amongst the island’s top tennis players, Mr Thomas joins the club as it looks to improve member activities.
He is actively involved in the local tennis community, and has represented Bermuda in international competitions several times over the past decade.
He recently travelled to Bolivia as a member of the Bermuda Davis Cup Team to play in the Americas Zone, Group 3. He is the Chairman of the local Pro Registry and a part-time coach.
“We are absolutely delighted to have David as a part of our team,” said Ed Sousa, the PGTC President.
“David is no stranger to the club as he already works with our Coach Blair Rance providing a number of members with tennis lessons.”
“I am excited to join what I view as a model tennis club on the island,” Mr Thomas said. “I look forward to forging new relationships and helping the club to maximize its potential as the premier tennis facility on the island.”
“In my time in and around local tennis, Pomander Gate has been consistently recognized as one of the top facilities on the Island. They have a great team and infrastructure in place and I am eager to see what we can collectively achieve.”
