FAC & Butterfield Lower Charities Processing Fee
First Atlantic Commerce [FAC], a Bermuda-based, global payment gateway, and Butterfield, a full service community bank and provider of specialised international financial services, announced they will “provide local charities with best possible rates for online credit card processing.”
“FAC will provide online gateway transaction processing services free of charge for local charities,” the company said. “Integrating to the FAC platform to enable online credit card processing is an ideal solution for charities looking to accept donations online or who want to implement a monthly contribution plan with their donors.”
“During this season of giving, all of us at FAC are proud to help local charities,” said Chris Burns, CEO of FAC. “We currently assist several charities with their ecommerce, and want to extend that to all local registered charities that require online credit card processing services.”
Butterfield will offer heavily reduced discount and transaction fee rates, and waive the monthly fee to charities looking to do online commerce.
