Photos: Final Day Of Gosling Golf Invitational

Thee 2016 edition of the Gosling’s Invitational came to an end, with Canadian David Wetlauffer, who took the crown as the Professional Division Champion of the 2016 Gosling’s Invitational, recording a four-day combined score of 279. In second place was Kirk Hanefeld who finished with a 282.

Daniel Augustus led the Bermuda players in the Professional Division finishing 15th, with a three day total 296, while Camiko Smith finished 18th two strokes back, Dwayne Pearman finished T20h at 301.

The Open Division Damian Palanyandi walking away with a significant lead with a combined final score of 304, with Henry Arundale with second at 321 and Scott Barnett was third place at 323.

Hav Trott was once again successful in capturing the Senior Amateur Division title with a final score of 303. Glenn Kelley took second place with 212 and first time Goslings participant Bud Williams captured third place with 316.

Now with some more exciting and breaking news. The Gosling’s Invitational has been accepted for World Amateur Ranking Status with the R&A. This means that players can acquire World ranking status. All Amateur scores will be sent via the Bermuda Golf Association to the R&A tomorrow and will be ranked according to their position in the tournament.
