Narragansett Release ‘Bermuda Style’ Beer
Narragansett Beer has released an ‘America’s Cup Bermuda Style Pilsner’, saying it uses “pale and carapils malts” and a “kiss of German Hallertau hops.”
A post on the company’s website, said “Each year, the world’s best sailors and fastest boats race for the oldest trophy in International Sport – America’s Cup.
“Narragansett Beer sponsored the America’s Cup during the 1960’s-1980’s so it’s only natural that with our return, we sponsor the event once again. We are proud to announce the Narragansett Bermuda Style Pilsner as the official beer of America’s Cup.”
“This easy-drinking pilsner is made with 2-row pale and carapils malts for a clean and slightly sweet profile.
“We then use a kiss of German Hallertau hops for a slightly spicy and flowery compliment. The sessionability and carbonation make this beer a go-to for hot summer days on the water.
“The Bermuda Style Pilsner will be available year-round through the completion of the America’s Cup in Bermuda in July 2017.”
