Photos & Results: BHF Women’s Division Hockey

A recent round of hockey action in the women’s division, saw the Budgies, Swallows, and Bluebirds recording wins.

Canaries 1 Budgies 2

The Budgies returned to winning ways picking up a 2 – 1 win over the Canaries. The Budgies got on the board first with a Erika Parsons Field Goal in the 6th minute, Renee Greenslade doubled the lead with a Field Goal in the 47th minute, the Canaries would pull a goal back in the 57th minute when Chloe Pullen scored a Field Goal, but they could not find the equalizer.

Longtails 0 Swallows 2

The Swallows recorded a 2 – 0 win over the Longtails in their matchup, Liz Stewart gave the Swallows the lead with a Field Goal in the 29th minute, Tash Hallinan doubled the lead when she scored from a Penalty Corner in the 50th minute.

Sandpipers 1 Bluebirds 2

The Bluebirds picked up a 2 – 1 win over the Sandpipers, Victoria Ireson gave the Bluebirds the lead with a Field Goal in the 16th minute, Laura Hope doubled the Bluebirds lead with a Field Goal in the 19th minute, the Sandpipers gave themselves a chance when Zina Jones pulled a goal back in the 51st minute converting a Field Goal, but they could not find the equalizer.
