Hannover Re Offering $15,000 Scholarship
BFIS donor, Hannover Re, is offering the BFIS Hannover Re Scholarship to be awarded to a recent graduate [which includes the 2017 graduates] from either The Berkeley Institute or Cedarbridge Academy.
With a GPA requirement of 2.75, the award is worth up to $15,000 a year for up to 2 years, and in line with other BFIS scholarships, it is for students interested in careers in the insurance sector.
These include Accounting, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Corporate Law, Economics, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, Math, or other majors relevant to insurance.
Public school alumni already in college in Bermuda or overseas are welcome to apply in addition to this year’s graduates. Deadline is May 5th for this specific BFIS scholarship and applications are through bermudascholarships.com.
