Rabain To Compete In FEI World Jumping Finals
Bermuda’s Kirista Rabain will be competing in the 2017 FEI World Jumping Finals, which is set to be held in Algeria next month.
The BEF said, “Last year’s FEI World Jumping Challenge came to a very successful conclusion for Bermuda with Kirista Rabain riding Helsinki Van De Heffinck [owned by Bevis Tetlow] and Philip Correia riding his horse, Emerson, securing first and second place honors respectively for Zone 10 region.
“The top two “Category A” [1.20m – 1.30m] riders from each of the ten Regional FEI Zones are invited to compete in the 2017 FEI World Jumping Finals on borrowed horses supplied by the hosting National Federation.

“The Bermuda Equestrian Federation is extremely pleased to announce that, as a consequence of their very fine achievements, both Bermuda riders, Kirista Rabain and Philip Correia, have been invited to compete in the 2017 FEI World Jumping Finals.
“The 2017 Finals will be held in Alger, Algeria from 3rd – 6th May 2017. Due to business commitments, Philip Correia will be unable to attend the 2017 Finals. Philip Correia was successful in securing the silver medal at the 2016 Finals held in Rabat Morocco.
“Countries competing in the 2017 FEI World Jumping Finals will include New Zealand, South Africa, Chili, Iran, Venezuela, Ecuador, Uruguay, Lebanon, India, Morocco, Mauritius and Uzbekistan.
“The FEI World Jumping Finals will provide Ms. Rabain with an excellent opportunity to meet and compete against riders from around the world. The Bermuda Equestrian Federation and its members are extremely proud of this accomplishment.”
