BFRS: Hotel Chef Sustains “Minor Injuries”
A hotel chef was transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital with “minor injuries” this morning [Feb 11] according to the BFRS.
Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson Acting Lieutenant Russann Francis said, “On Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 4:41am, Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service Emergency Dispatch Center received an emergency call for “a person with burns about the body” at the Fairmont Southampton.
“On arrival of Fire and ambulance personnel a hotel chef was found to have minor injuries and was transported immediately via ambulance to King Edward Memorial Hospital.
“BFRS personnel coordinated with hotel employees to ensure that the fuel lines to the kitchen equipment were isolated until an investigation has been completed.”
