33-Year-Old Man Stable In ICU After Collision
A 33-year-old man is in stable condition in the ICU following a collision in Smith’s Parish yesterday [March 28].
A police spokesperson said, “Around 11pm Wednesday, March 28th police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash on Harrington Sound Road in Smith’s parish, near the junction with Broken Hill Road.
“It appears that the motorcyclist involved, believed to be a 33-year-old Hamilton parish man, was traveling in the eastbound lane of Harrington Sound Road when the crash occurred.
“He was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of his injuries and at last check this morning [March 29th] was in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are asked to contact Constable Michael Charlton on the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
