Ministry: 92 Bus Runs Cancelled On Wednesday

April 25, 2018

The Ministry released a list of bus cancellations for this afternoon [Apr 25] with ninety-two bus runs cancelled.  Bus route cancellations were happening quite frequently earlier this year, however this is the first time they have announced cancellations since February, and the reasons for the cancellations is unclear, however we are seeking clarification and will update if able.

So it’s a wild cat strike? As the World’s eyes are on us and we are expecting hundreds of international athletes and supporters. Shameful. Bermuda does not deserve tourists.

  2. Stevie says:

Here we go again. Oh its getting close to tourist season.

  3. WSP says:

We have an international sporting event and cruise ships this weekend. What is the excuse now from the PLP

  4. Family Man says:

Got that new bus on the road yet?

  5. Stevie says:

Not only that. Tourist season too. Just like last year. Nothing has changed. Still haven’t seen the new bus yet.

      PLP, is getting what done???Ursula???

    • Mary says:

Problem is, mechanics do not want to repair busses, coz they r lazy! And the fkn union supports this behavior! Poot lil island! Bermuda deserves better!

    • Double S says:

Strange how there were nowhere near the number of cancellations under the big bad OBA. But keep on deflecting. And my trash was picked up twice a week.

  9. Supersized says:

And no comment from the ministry. You get what you vote for.

  10. Stevie says:

Problem was & still is BIU blocking mechanics from overseas to teach the bus mechanics how to repair the broken down ones.

  11. Stevie says:

Can’t blame Fahy for no sign of new bus. PLP the problem for it not being on road.
