Video: Women’s U17 Football BDA vs USA
[Updated] The Bermuda Women’s U17 Football team is playing against the United States this evening [June 6] at the IMG Academy Stadium in Bradenton, Florida, and you can watch the full 90-minute game replay, courtesy of Concacaf.
The Concacaf Women’s U-17 competition was originally scheduled for April 19 to 29 at the National Football Stadium in Managua, Nicaragua, but safety concerns led to cancellation of the event on April 22, and play has now resumed.
Update 8.06pm: The game ended with the USA winning 10-1, with Bermuda’s team putting in their best effort as they matched up against the regional powerhouse. They got on the scoresheet courtesy of a goal from LeiLanni Nesbeth in the 17th minute, and Bermuda’s goalkeeper Zakhari Turner made numerous saves throughout the game, and one her of saves has been declared the ‘Save of the Game’ by Concacaf.
