Bermuda Senior Women’s Football Team Named
The Bermuda Football Association announced the Senior Women’s National Team that will represent Bermuda in the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s Championship Caribbean Final Round Qualification in Kingston, Jamaica
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Football Association is pleased to announce the Senior Women’s National Team that will represent Bermuda in the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s Championship Caribbean Final Round Qualification.
“Bermuda will recall the team played in Group E hosted by the Guyana Football Association in May of this year. They topped the group to qualify for the Caribbean Final Round with wins over Suriname and Barbados and a draw with hosts Guyana. The team and staff who depart on Thursday are:

“The Caribbean Final Qualifying Round is being held in Kingston, Jamaica with all games being played at the Jamaica National Stadium. Bermuda’s first match will be against hosts Jamaica on August 27th at 7pm,” the BFA said.
“Two days later they will take on Cuba at 7pm. On August 31st the Lady Gombey Warriors will play Antigua and Barbuda at 4pm and then close out the final round on September 1st against Trinidad and Tobago. The team will be led by captain Marley Christian.
“The top three teams will advance to the CONCACAF Championships that will be held 4–17 October in in three host cities: Cary, N.C., Edinburg, Texas, and Frisco, Texas.”
