Court: Lake Found Not Guilty Of Manslaughter
27-year-old Andrew Lake has been found not guilty of manslaughter following the death last year of Mary McKee in a boating accident.
The jury returned its verdict late this afternoon [Aug 24] following a trial in the Supreme Court.
Mary McKee, a visitor from New Zealand, was in a small, semi-inflatable vessel in June of last year, when the boat was involved in a collision with Lake’s 17 foot boat in Hamilton Harbour.
