Wells & Lambe Both Score In Team’s Victory
Both Nahki Wells and Reggie Lambe scored for their professional teams in England today [Oct 23], with Wells netting his first goal for Queen’s Park Rangers as they recorded a 3-0 victory, while Lambe scored for Cambridge United in their 2-o win.
QPR’s match report said, “Queens Park Rangers fine form continued with a 3-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday at Loftus Road this evening.
“Tomer Hemed’s second goal in two games, a Luke Freeman header and first goal for Nahki Wells secured the R’s all three points against a Sheffield Wednesday side who had previously lost just two of their last 10 games.”
Cambridge’s match report said, “Cambridge United produced a ruthless away performance to secure a vital 2-0 victory over Swindon Town in Sky Bet League Two.
“Two early goals from Reggie Lambe and Jevani Brown saw the U’s fly out the blocks at the County Ground before they displayed excellent defensive composure and resilience to see out the game and pick up the three points.”
