U20 Football: Costa Rica Defeat Bermuda 5 – 0
Bermuda’s CONCACAF Under-20 Championship qualifying campaign got underway against Costa Rica at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
Bermuda’s starting line up included: Quinaceo Hunt, William Spencer [Link Smith 70th], Edry Moore, Jorj Dublin, Knory Scott, Diego Richardson, D’andre Wainwright [Aaron Burgess 57th], Jahkari Furbert, T’ai Williams, Cory Booth, San-tze Burgess [Zuhri Burgess 78th].
Bermuda would find themselves down 2-0 at the break after Costa Rica’s Ronaldo Araya found the back of the net twice.
Costa Rica scored three more times in the second half to come away with a 5-0 win, with Walter Cortes, Jurguens Montenegro and Andy Reyes all scoring a goal each.
