KATKiDS To Host Night Market Tomorrow
The Bermuda-based international charity KATKiDS will be hosting it’s 12th annual KATKiDS Night Market tomorrow [Nov 16] from 5.30pm to 8.30pm at Upper Pier 6 on Front Street in Hamilton.
A spokesperson said, “KATKiDS Night Market is an exotic and unique event that raises funds for children in need in Bermuda, Nepal and Africa. All of the proceeds raised by this event go directly to the charities supported by KATKiDS in Nepal and Africa that finance and enhance children’s education, nutrition, and overall quality of life.
“Entry to the event is $10 and 100% of the door proceeds go to the Bermuda charity, The Eliza DoLittle Society. Start your holiday shopping early this year while enjoying authentic Nepalese food, happy hour drink prices, and DJ entertainment.”
“Each year the KATKiDS team handpicks a selection of items from markets in Nepal and Africa. The collection of items for this year’s Night Market includes housewares, jewellery, scarves, crafts, clothing, art, and more.”
Director of KATKiDS, Jennie Lee O’Donnell, said, “We really focused on selecting new items that haven’t been seen at the KATKiDS Night Market before but we also have brought back some of the high demand items from previous years.”
“Tickets can be bought online in advance via bdatix.bm or purchased at the door from 5.30pm with cash or card.”
