Police Traffic Advisory For Christmas Beach Party
Police are urging the motoring public that are attending the Elbow Beach Christmas event to not block residents’ drive ways and entrances to businesses. Officers from the BPS community action Team [CAT] will be on hand to facilitate the free flow of traffic.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service recognizes on Christmas Day a number of island residents converge on Elbow Beach for festive celebrations.
“This results in cars and cycles being illegally parked on South Road and surrounding roads causing major traffic delays and safety hazards.
“This year officers from the BPS community action Team [CAT] will be on hand to facilitate the free flow of traffic. We are asking for the motoring public not to block residents drive ways and entrances to businesses.
“On behalf of the Commissioner of Police Mr. Stephen Corbishley and BPS Family we would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe holiday.”
