Court: Woman Denies Charge Of Causing Death

A Warwick woman pleaded not guilty to causing the death of Rakai Augustus by careless driving.
Kelly-Ann Damasio denied the charge after the indictment was reduced from causing death by dangerous driving.
On October 28, 2017, Mr Augustus was a passenger in a car that was allegedly being driven by Ms Damasio when it struck a wall on Wellington Street in St George.
Her next court appearance is scheduled for later this month.
