Hockey: Bermuda Defeats Widener University
The Bermuda national hockey team recently took on visiting Widener University at the National Sports Center, securing a 3-1 victory.
Bermuda took the lead in the 24th minute when Georgia Harris scored a field goal, taking that lead into the break.
Bermuda doubled their lead in the 41st minute when Francesca Cacace scored a field goal; when Chrysda Smith scored a field goal in the 60th minute, it extended the Bermuda lead to 3 – 0. In the 70th minute, Widener University scored their lone goal when Anna Dunn scored a field goal.
