Police Confirm Sudden Death Of 61-Yr-Old Man
Police have confirmed the sudden death of a 61-year-old man. The man was found lying on Parliament Street near the junction with Front Street, was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, but sadly later pronounced dead, according to police.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 9:30pm Wednesday, March 20th police officers on mobile patrol in the City of Hamilton found a 61-year-old man barely conscious, lying on Parliament Street near the junction with Front Street.
“The man, believed to be of no fixed abode, was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, but sadly later pronounced dead.
“Identification of the deceased is anticipated in due course, pending the necessary next of kin notification.”
