Bermuda Sailors Start Optimist Championships
The 2019 North American Optimist Championships are underway in Nassau, Bahamas, with Bermuda sailor Christian Ebbin leading after the first day of racing.
Ebbin after three races leads the Fleet with 7 points, he finished 3rd in the first two races, before crossing the line first in the third race of the day.
Magnus Ringsted is the second Bermuda sailor and he is in 9th with 18 points, Ringsted had a 6th, 3rd and 9th place finish on the day.
PJ Rodrigues is 59th with 67 points, while Rachael Betschart is in 60th with 68 points.
Laura Hupman is 65th with 74, Ava Adams is 78th with 83 points, Kipling Rossouw is 94th with 96 points.
Nicole Stovell is currently holding down the 99th place spot with 101, Sophia Dias is 109th with 104 points and Amelia Lewis is 152nd with 145.
