Sept 22: Zurich 5K Run & Walk To Support OCAB
The Zurich 5k Run & Walk is set to be held on Sunday, September 22 with proceeds supporting Ovarian Cancer Awareness Bermuda [OCAB].
The event page said, “Many women die from ovarian cancer, mainly due to late diagnosis. OCAB want to help build awareness and encourage early detection of ovarian cancer. How? Through raising awareness of ovarian cancer signs and symptoms that in turn will hopefully save lives.
“OCAB also want to assist women who are underinsured, that have been advised by a medical professional to get diagnostic testing for ovarian cancer. The key is, know your body & know the signs. To find out more about OCAB, please reach out to ocabda@gmail.com.”
The race route starts at Clearwater Beach next to the parking area on Coopers Island Road, north to Southside Road [SSR], left on SSR, west to the round about opposite the former White’s Supermarket Building return back same route, staying to the left to the finish line across from Clearwater Beach.
