Photos & Video: Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
[Updated with photos] The 23rd annual BF&M Breast Cancer Awareness Walk — which serves to help raise funds for the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre —- was held this evening [Oct 16], with the event getting underway at Barr’s Bay Park, beginning with the BF&M Health Fair and continuing with a Zumba warm-up, the walk and then the survivor celebration.
The event saw Patron of Breast Cancer Awareness Month Mrs. Kristin Burt and Governor John Rankin join the participants of the event which included many cancer survivors.
The Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre previously said, “Our goal during the 2019 Breast Cancer Awareness Month is to raise $250,000. All funds raised support our Equal Access Fund and our Prevention and Early Detection Programmes.” We will update with a photo gallery later.
