Swimmers Continue Competing In Florida

Warwick Academy swimmers took to the pool again to continue competing in the Speedo Winter Age Group Championships in Florida.

Jack Harvey qualified for the 15-16 Men’s 200 Yard Backstroke Final when he clocked the second fastest Preliminary time of 1:55.30.

Bella Howes finished 11th during the 13-14 Women’s 50 Yard Breaststroke touching the wall in a time of 33.06, Daria Desmond was 20th clocking 34.35 and Adrianna Argent was 21st clocking 34.36.

With a time of 34.26, Tayla Horan finished 21st during the 15-16 Women’s 50 Yard Breaststroke.

Caleb Ingham earned a spot in the 15-16 Men’s 50 Yard Breaststroke Final when he finished 8th with a time of 28.71.

During the 13-14 Women’s 100 Yard Freestyle Preliminaries, Howes finished 14th with a time of 55.93, Argent finished 40th clocking a time of 59.01 and Desmond finished 47th touching the wall in a time of 1:01.38.

White finished 14th in the 15-16 Women’s 100 Yard Freestyle clocking a time of 55.43, Horan finished 24th clocking a time of 56.71.

During the 15-16 Men’s 100 Yard Freestyle, Harvey finished 12th clocking a time of 48.52, Brian Desmond was 16th clocking 48.64 and Ingham finished 21st touching the wall in a time of 49.55.

Daria Desmond finished 31st competing in the 13-14 Women’s 400 Yard Individual Medley clocking a time of 5:22.47.

Howes finished 44th competing in the 13-14 Women’s 50 Yard Butterfly, while Argent finished 70th touching the wall in a time of 32.00.

Horan finished 54th in the 15-16 Women’s 50 Yard Butterfly Preliminaries touching the wall in a time of 29.78.

Ingham will feature in another final when he finished 5th in the 15-16 Men’s 50 Yard Butterfly clocking a time of 23.35, Desmond finished 11th clocking 24.40.
