BTA: Businesses Selling Gift Cards Online
“We would like to continue supporting restaurants, retail outlets or other businesses by promoting entities selling gift cards to customers online, even while those customers can’t be served in-person,” BTA Interim CEO Glenn Jones said.
An email sent out by Mr Jones said, “As we shelter in place from now until April 18, our marketing team will continue utilising our Covid-19 online web page as a resource to promote local businesses. With the overwhelming response to our page thus far, we would like to continue supporting restaurants, retail outlets or other businesses by promoting entities selling gift cards to customers online, even while those customers can’t be served in-person.
“If you’re offering online gift cards during this 14-day period of sheltering in place and can deliver them electronically, please fill in our online stakeholder form and we’ll include your business on our Covid-19 Resources page.
“If you want to sell gift cards, but they’re not available online, we recommend checking out the new Ptix Virtual Marketplace to find out whether that option is a good fit for your business.”
