‘Bermuda-Style’ Home For Sale For $7.5M
A four-bedroom home with ‘Bermuda-style’ architecture has been listed for sale for $7.5 million in Palm Beach, Florida.
The Palm Beach Daily News said, “Developed on speculation, Purucker & Marrano Custom Homes’ most recent Palm Beach residential project stands in the ocean block of Atlantic Avenue, a street garnering celebrity prestige thanks to rocker Jon Bon Jovi, who is building his oceanfront estate on the corner.
“The house Purucker and his joint venture partner, Pat Marrano, have developed features Bermuda-style architecture at 154 Atlantic Ave. The property — a few blocks north of the Royal Poinciana Way commercial district — is on the south side of the street.
“Exterior features include a front entry with a scalloped parapet at the roofline and a balcony above the porch. The color scheme is also typically Bermudian, with a white facade, a white-tile roof, and light-blue-green shutters.
“It has a clean, bright look that you would see in Bermuda, and the landscape pops, with a circular white marble stone drive with oases of flowers,” Purucker says.
“The house also has the features one would expect in new construction — impact-resistant glass for windows and doors, a whole-house generator and tankless water heaters.
“French doors from some of the downstairs rooms offer views of the backyard, which features an arbor as well as a pool with a sun shelf and whirlpool spa.
