Buses 7 & 8 Temporarily Rerouted On Saturday
Bus routes 7 and 8 will be temporarily redirected after entering the City of Hamilton on Saturday [Aug 8].
A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Public Transportation [DPT] is advising that routes 7 and 8 of the public bus service will be temporarily redirected after entering the City of Hamilton on Saturday, August 8th 2020.
“This is to allow space for adequate physical distancing of expected attendees at the Bermuda Pride 2020 event, scheduled to take place outside City Hall that evening, from 8:30pm until 9pm.
“The temporary rerouting will involve buses on routes 7 and 8 turning right off Front Street on to Court Street, then left on Victoria Street to the central bus terminal on the left.
“The DPT thanks the public for their understanding.”
