Regulations 2020 Large Group Exemption:
Bermuda Industrial Union Membership Meeting
[Hotel Division]
Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda Industrial Union Membership Meeting is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5 [1] and [2] of the Public Health [COVID-19 Emergency Powers] Regulations 2020 on groups of more than fifty persons assembling;
Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5 [4] of those Regulations permitting a group of more than seventy-five persons to assemble Thursday August 20, 2020 at 11:00 am, at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, 76 Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke Parish with the following conditions:
Conditions:
- All persons attending the event must wear a face mask and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
- Number of persons permitted to attend meeting – 150
- The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe adherence to the conditions as prescribed above.
