Eight Hours Of Video: Sleepy Hollow Cup Match
The first ever Cup Match At The Hollow was held in the Sleepy Hollow neighborhood in Hamilton parish, with Somerset winning the series after claiming victory in 3 of the 4 men’s matches as well as winning the women’s match.
The MVP award went to Rohaan Simons, the Safe Hands Award went to Vance Goater, and Mcaiz Trott, who at only 8-years-old played the full game making an impressive showing, also won a special award.
The event saw an interesting combination of some of the island’s top cricketers taking part along with area residents, and made for a fun and exciting event showcasing great cricket and camaraderie.
It was very well watched online with around 50,000 views in total across all the videos and all social media networks, with numerous people mentioning how much they enjoyed the event.
At the end of the game, it was announced that there will be another Sleepy Hollow Cup Match held next year on the Saturday of Cup Match weekend.
