Butterfield Bank Offices To Close On Monday
The Bank of Butterfield advised that due to the approach and potential impact of Paulette, all Butterfield Banking Centres and offices in Bermuda will be closed on Monday.
A spokesperson said, “The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited advises the public that, due to the approach and potential impact of Hurricane Paulette [which is forecast to pass near or over Bermuda as a Category 2 hurricane on the morning of Monday, 14 September 2020], all Butterfield Banking Centres and offices in Bermuda will be closed on Monday.
“The safety of employees and clients is Butterfield’s first priority. As such, the Bank’s ability to reopen for business on Tuesday, 15 September will be dependent upon an assessment of the safety of its buildings and receipt of an “all clear” from the Government of Bermuda to resume operations. Butterfield will communicate the planned reopening date and time of its Banking Centres and offices after the storm has passed via the press, social media and its website.
“Butterfield Online, the Bank’s secure internet banking platform, will remain available throughout the closure period.”
