OBA’s Gurret To Host Clean-Up & Art Event
OBA candidate and local artist Nicky Gurret will host a clean-up in Sandys on Saturday [Sept 12], with people also invited to help create a ‘Kaleidoscope of Butterflies’ on the roadside fence as a temporary art display.
An OBA spokesperson said, “One of Bermuda’s best-known charities, KBB, has joined forces with One Bermuda Alliance candidate Nicky Gurret to help a clean-up in Sandys.
“It will take place along Bob’s Valley Road near West End Primary and all area residents and students, including those from West End Primary and Sandys Middle School, are invited to join.”
Mrs Gurret said: “Participants will also be able to lend their hand in creating a ‘Kaleidoscope of Butterflies’ on the roadside fence as a temporary art display. Both activities will help beautify and enhance the area, as well as give residents the chance to speak to me about any concerns they have and want help with.”
The clean-up will be on Saturday, September 12, from 8.30am to 9.30am.
