Tennis: MTM Singles Bowl Day Three Results
Fans were treated to a dramatic evening of tennis at the Fairmont Southampton Tennis Courts as the MTM Singles Bowl 2020 continued with the playing of the Men’s A Semi-Finals.
The first semi-final saw Daniel Phillips taking on Jovan Whitter, Phillips advanced to the final with a straight-sets victory 6-3, 6-4.
The second semi-final saw David Thomas go on court to face off against Tariq Simons, the pair needed three sets to decide a winner.
Simmons won the first set 6-3, but Thomas fought back to win the second set 7-5, it would then come down to a third and final set, with Simons able to advance to the final winning 6-1.
The tournament also saw a Green Ball Division played with 7 winners declared.
The East winner was Nadhira Durham, while Jaden Jones was the West Winner. Theodore King claimed the North winner title and the South winner was Amaya Rollins.
Collecting the top prize in the Northeast Division was Caitlin Conyers, while the Southwest winner was Samantha Nearon and the Southeast winner was Kristina Wright.
