Walkers Welcome Ashley Fubler, Izabella Arnold
Walkers Bermuda has welcomed Ashley Fubler and Izabella Arnold to its pupillage programme.
A spokesperson said, “Walkers Bermuda is pleased to welcome Ashley Fubler and Izabella Arnold to its pupillage programme, where both young women will undertake training in the firm’s Corporate, Finance, Funds & Insurance practice group for six months and a further six months with the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution team.
“Ashley Fubler began her legal studies in 2014 at the University of Hull where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws with Upper Second Class Honours. She then went on to study at the University of Law in Birmingham, UK where she completed the Bar Professional Training Course with a LLM in Bar Practice. Ashley is also the recipient of Walkers’ 2018 and 2019 Legal Scholarship Award, which the firm offers each year in support of Bermuda’s upcoming legal talent. Ashley is due to be called to the Bar in England and Wales in March 2021.
“Izabella Arnold is a graduate of Warwick Academy. She has recently completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at City, University of London. She also studied English and Theatre at the University of Texas at Austin, obtaining a double Bachelor of Arts in 2016.
Walkers Bermuda Insolvency & Dispute Resolution partner Nicole Tovey will act as Pupil Master and she said, “Ashley and Izabella show great promise as young lawyers and we’re delighted to support and guide them through this final phase of their pupillage.”
The students will also be supervised by Insolvency & Dispute Resolution senior associate Benjamin McCosker and Corporate, Finance, Funds & Insurance senior associate Rachel Nightingale.
“Pupils who participate in Walkers’ pupillage programme gain practical experience and exposure to Bermuda’s most important cases and transactions by working alongside associates and partners on current cases.
