Eve Saves Penalty To Help Spennymoor Win

[Updated with video] Bermudian goalkeeper Dale Eve made an excellent showing for his Spennymoor Town team, keeping a clean sheet — including saving a penalty — to help the team claim a 2-0 victory against Southport.

The club’s match report noted that “despite a dominant performance, Eve’s first clean sheet as Moors’ number one was under threat when Blakeman fouled Niall Watson in the area, but Eve confidently stopped David Morgan’s spot kick to keep his side on course for victory.”

The team posted that they plan to post a highlight video of the match later on, and hopefully this includes Eve’s save and, if so, we will update with that video and in the meantime, a short video of an interview with Eve following the match is below.
