Marketplace Christmas Parade November 29th, 2020 At 5:00 Pm From Shelly Bay Marketplace, Hamilton Parish To Heron Bay Marketplace, Southampton

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that the MarketPlace Ltd. will be holding a Christmas Parade from the MarketPlace in Shelly Bay on North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish to the MarketPlace in Heron Bay, Middle Road, Southampton.

The Christmas Parade is to take place on Sunday, November 29th, 2020 from 5:00 pm until approximately 7:30 pm. It will consist of up to 20 vehicles that will travel as a procession under escort from the Bermuda Police Service.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid the Christmas Parade.

The Christmas Parade will commence from Shelly Bay MarketPlace parking lot on North Shore Road and head west into Flatts. From Flatts it will head west on Middle Road in Smith’s Parish through Devonshire Parish along Cavendish Road into the City of Hamilton. There it will head westerly on Reid Street to the junction of Court Street, south to the junction of Front Street.

From Front Street it will head westerly to Queen Street then north to the Church Street junction, continuing easterly on Church Street to King Street, Spurling Hill on to East Broadway to leave the City of Hamilton. From the roundabout it will continue south to Trimmingham Hill and westerly to South Road to the Paget Traffic Lights. There it will merge on to Middle Road and travel westerly through Paget, Warwick and Southampton to arrive at Heron Bay MarketPlace parking lot where it will end.

In addition, the Bermuda Police Service are hereby authorized to ‘Close off’ or ‘Open’ streets or portion of streets and restrict parking as the Commissioner of Police determines.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
