Virtual 3D Experience Of BHS Innovation Centre

Rego Sotheby’s International Realty partnered with BHS to support the official opening of the Innovation Centre, through “utilizing intuitive technology to provide a unique and immersive experience to donors and supporters around the world.”

The Centre includes five Science Labs, two Computer Science and Robotics Labs, a Digital Media Studio, Fine Arts Studios, Recording Studio, Dance Studio and more.

The school noted the multi-million dollar facility will be shared with young people across Bermuda, saying that while that is not possible right now due to Covid-19, they look forward to “opportunities and partnerships between BHS and other schools on the island, public and private.”

“Responding to the need both locally and globally for more girls to study Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in addition to the skills gained from a strong Arts Programme, BHS led a successful ‘Leading the Way’ Campaign for Innovation, raising $12.2 million to build an Innovation Centre and renovated Arts Wing, which officially opened on November 1st, 2020,” an RSIR spokesperson said.

“With an unprecedented year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, it became unlikely to host the official opening of the Innovation Centre and Arts Wing as BHS had planned. To ensure the health and safety of all involved, whilst abiding by Government restrictions, only a limited number of donors and supporters of the Leading the Way campaign were able attend a celebration for the new space.
