Supplementary Provisions to the Air Navigation [Fees for Certificates and Services] Regulations 2012

I, John Rankin, as the Governor of Bermuda in accordance with article 4[2] to the Air Navigation [Overseas Territories] Order 2013 hereby exercise my power to make provisions supplemental to the Air Navigation [Fees for Certificates and Services] Regulations 2012 to the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority as the person designated under article 6[1] of the said Order to amend fees payable under those Regulations.

Subject to the approval of the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority Board of Directors in each instance, I hereby authorize the Director General of the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority to reduce, delay or cancel fees chargeable.

This exemption is valid until 31st December 2021 unless previously suspended, revoked or cancelled.

Public Health [Covid-19 Emergency Powers] [No. 3] Regulations 2020 Large Group Exemption:

Bermuda Industrial Union General Council Meeting

Whereas the Minister of National Security considers that the proposed Bermuda Industrial Union – General Council Meeting is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 4 [1] and [2] of the Public Health [COVID-19 Emergency Powers] [No.3] Regulations 2020 on groups of more than 20 persons assembling;

Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 4 [4] of those Regulations to Bermuda Industrial Union [Mr. Chris Furbert – President] permitting a group of more than 20 persons to assemble, Thursday December 10, 2020 between 4:30 pm and 7:00 pm at the Bermuda Industrial Union Building, 49 Union Street, City of Hamilton, with the following conditions:

• The Letter of No Objection for the mass gathering must be posted at the entrance and clearly visible and kept on file to be made available upon requests.

• All persons attending the General Council Meeting must maintain appropriate physical distancing which is described as; maintaining a distance between all persons who are not members of the same household of at least –

• six feet; or

• three feet, provided each person is wearing a mask which completely covers their nose and mouth, and follow any relevant guidance.

• Maximum number of attendees – Maximum of 40 persons

• Duration of repast: 2.5 hours [4:30 pm to 7:00 pm]

• Venue: Bermuda Industrial Union Building, 49 Union Street, City of Hamilton

• Recording of names and contact information of persons attending the event for the purpose of contact tracing. Information to be retained for 28 days post-date of the event.

• Adherence to all applicable COVID 19 Health Guidelines as published by the Ministry of Health.

• The Ministry of National Security reserves the right to withdraw the permission to have more than seventy-five persons assembled at the event without notice or cost to the Bermuda Government subject to the status of COVID 19 in the local community.

• The Bermuda Police Service / Ministry of National Security Official have right to attend and observe compliance of the conditions as prescribed above.
