Penny & Drum’s Spring/Summer Line For 2021
Penny & Drum’s new Spring/Summer line for 2021 includes a number of Bermuda themed scents – Bermuda Freesias, Bermuda Coconut Rum, The Tempest, Bermuda Cedar, Crystal Caves, Ginger Beer, Grotto Bay, Hibiscus Flower, Paradise Lakes, and Pina Colada.
A spokesperson said, “These are in addition to the revamped core collection of the ever popular Bermuda Rum Swizzle, Mangrove Bay, and Bermuda Banana Bread. Even the boxes have been upgraded to include a red wax seal.”
“Bermuda Freesias were made exclusively for The Island Shop and capture the divinely perfumed flowers that define spring time on the island. While many coconut fragrances are on the sweet side, the Bermuda Coconut Rum candle instead leans on woody notes of rum, sandalwood, Bermuda cedar, and amyris.”
“The Tempest candle is about being a force of nature, as it is named for the hurricane that brought the Sea Venture to shipwreck on to what later became Bermuda. It is the deeply wild and feminine energy of mother earth that creates as well as destroys. This scent melds notes of smoke, wood and musk into a warm union of jasmine, clove, amber, sandalwood, and patchouli.”
