Bermuda Sailors Begin World Championships
Bermuda sailors Jack Adderley, PJ Rodrigues, Kipling Rossouw, Ethan Thompson, and Jordan Vieira started competing in the Optimist World Championship 2021 on the waters of the Riva del Garda in Italy.
Rodrigues is leading the Bermuda Fleet in 89th place with 51 points after finishes of 22nd, and 29th in the two races sailed on the opening day.
Vieira is in 102nd with 5 points crossing the line in 33rd and 24th, while Thompson is in 135th with 72 points, finishing the first race in 36th and in the same position in the second race. Rossouw is in 175th with 85 points after finishes of 55th and 30th, and Adderley ended the day in 215t with 99 points, finishing 40th and 59th.
