Whaley Lead Monarchs To Play-Off Victory
Devwah Whaley and his Dresden Monarchs teammates advanced in the SharkWater German Football League play-offs following their 50 – 13 win over the Allgaeu Comets.
Dresden Monarchs — who play what we call American football — shut out the Allgaeu Comets 31 – 0 in the first half, they then outscored the Comets 19 – 13 in the second half.
Whaley had 17 of Dresden’s 31 rushes, for 93 yards, he also had 2 rushing touch downs.
Whaley’s first touchdown came in the first quarter off a 16-yard run, and then the second touchdown came in the third quarter on a 3-yard run.
