October 5, 2021

Hamilton Princess has been ranked the 5th best resort in the Atlantic Islands in the Condé Nast Traveler’s 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards, with the publication noting the “service is next level”, the “dining game here is strong” and the “impressive collection of modern art.”

A spokesperson said, “Hamilton Princess & Beach Club has been ranked the 5th best resort in the Atlantic Islands, by international travel magazine, Condé Nast Traveler’s 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards and has the distinction of being the highest ranked resort in Bermuda.

“The hotel received a score of 97.29 out of a possible 100, less than 3 points of off the first-place position. The magazine’s review made note of the hotel’s history and impressive art collection as well as highlighted the hotel’s service, noting that while warm hospitality is to be expected in Bermuda, ‘here at the Princess, the service is next level’. This also marks the fifth year running that the hotel has been recognised by the publication.”

Tim Morrison, General Manager of Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, said: “We at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club are extremely proud to share that we have been voted as the fifth best resort in the Atlantic Islands by the readers of Condé Nast’s Traveler. This is a particular distinction given the wonderful quality of the hotels on the island.

‘This is a wonderful achievement in any year but has particular significance in this one. It is a welcome recognition of the incredible hard work put in by all of our colleagues over the past year: delivering world-class service and experiences throughout a challenging time for Bermuda’s tourism. We want to say thank you to all of our guests who voted and to our incredibly hardworking and dedicated team members, whom without this would not have been possible.”

One section of the review said, “This is Bermuda: You’ll get a pleasant “good morning,” “good afternoon,” and “good evening” at every turn. But here at the Princess, the service is next level. White-jacketed bellman welcome you in and out, the front desk folks are cheerful and accommodating, and the concierge can get just about anything done.”

Bermuda had two hotels in the top 15 of the Atlantic, which included other islands such as the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos, as Rosewood Bermuda was ranked 15th. The full rankings can be viewed online here and in the November issue of the magazine, on newsstands now.”
