Resolution Re Earns Gold Designation In MEC
Resolution Re has earned a gold designation under the Bermuda Mental Health Foundation’s Mindful Employer Certificate Program.
A spokesperson said, “The Foundation determined that Resolution Re’s existing workplace policies in the areas of HR, employee insurance benefits including wellness and mental health coverage, flexibility between in-office or work-from-home and code of business conduct are exemplary.
“The Foundation launched the Mindful Employer Certification [MEC] Program as an initiative which seeks to encourage, highlight, and cultivate company cultures that put mental health as a workplace priority.
“The Mindful Employer Certification ensures that employers are in compliance with existing legislation while challenging them to develop, implement or enhance sound policies and practices around mental health. The MEC Program begins with a baseline assessment of a company’s existing policies and practices and measures them against a set of key standards aimed at fostering a mentally healthy and stigma-free workplace.”
“Resolution Re is honored and delighted to be recognized as having achieved the Gold Standard of the Mindful Employer Certification program,” said Steve Hales, the Company’s CEO. “We are proud to carry this designation as a sign of our commitment to promote and support positive mental health in our workplace: it is, and always will be, a key part of our holistic approach to wellbeing.”
