Dillas & Leseur At Amateur Championship
Jarryd Dillas and Kenny Leseur recently began competing in the Latin American Amateur Championships in the Dominican Republic.
Dillas came off the course tied for 19th after his even par round of 72. Dillas, who started out on the front nine, made the turn at 2-over par after a double bogey on the par four 8th, on the back nine he shot an eagle on the par five 12th, and a birdie on the par four 13th. A bogey on the par three 14th pulled him back to even, and he closed out with four consecutive pars.
Leseur finished the day tied for 98th. He teed off on the back nine and his struggles started right away with a double bogey on the 10th, followed by a bogey, another double bogey and then five consecutive bogies to be 11-over par through eight holes, however he recorded a birdie on the 19th. On the front nine, Leseur shot one birdie, four pars, two bogies, one double bogey, and one quintuple bogey to finish with a round of 17-over par.
