Field Hockey: Ravens Defeat Longtails 4 – 2
The Ravens defeated the Longtails 4 – 2 in Bermuda field hockey action.
The Ravens took the lead in the fourth minute when Rebecca Gibbons scored a penalty corner goal. The Longtails drew level in the sixth minute when Lauren Cardwell scored a penalty stroke. The Ravens got back in front in the 18th minute when Megan Troake scored a field goal.
Five minutes later, Troake scored a second field goal to extend the Ravens’ lead to 3 – 1. In the 39th minute, Isabel Roe scored a field goal to pull the Longtails within one, but one minute later Jess McClure scored a field goal to restore the Ravens’ two goal lead for the win.
