Phillips Advances In ITF J4 Puerto Rico Bowl
Daniel Phillips continued competing in the ITF J4 Bayamón Puerto Rico Bowl.
Phillips is ranked sixth for the hard court tournament.
In his second round match, he took on Alec Martinez from Puerto Rico, advancing to the third round with a straight-set victory 6-0, 6-1.
Phillips then teamed up with American Cyrus Mahjoob in the doubles; the pair are ranked second. They took on Carlos Caban and Matthew Ruderman, both from Puerto Rico.
Phillips and Mahjoob advanced by picking up a straight-set win 6-1, 6-0.
