Kaden Hopkins Helps Essax Win Spanish Cup
Kaden Hopkins and his Equipo Essax teammates won the Spanish Cup General Classification.
Stage two was a 110k stage with over 7700 feet of climbing. After an aggressive start, Hopkins covered a six rider breakaway. Oscar Garcia dropped back and so the team plan changed with Hopkins and teammate Tomas Morales, who was only 12 seconds back on general classification, working all day in the breakaway.
Morales continued to ride strong and take the overall General Classification win and help the team claim the victory.
